Springstone is fully committed to compliance and ethical behavior. We have adopted this Code of Conduct to set forth the ethical principles that guide our delivery of patient care and the way we conduct business and behave in the workplace. It is designed to help us make the right choices when confronted with difficult decisions. Every employee plays a vital role in maintaining these values.
We have also adopted a formal Compliance Plan to make sure that we have processes in place to support our commitment to ethical behavior. The Compliance Plan is reinforced by many financial and clinical policies and procedures. Our Corporate Compliance Officer is supported by the Compliance Officer for each of our hospitals and a Corporate Compliance Committee. Together they oversee compliance policy development, education and training, compliance audits and investigations, and risk assessments.
If any part of the Code of Conduct or the Compliance Plan is unclear to you, or if you have questions about a situation, please seek assistance. You also can contact the Springstone Compliance Hotline at (888) 470-3470. I encourage your inquiries and questions.
If we adhere to the principles of the Code of Conduct and the Compliance Plan, we will achieve our ethical and operational goals. Your shared participation is integral to our success.
